We are currently partnering with leading Aboriginal Medical Services and remote health providers across Western Australia / Northern Territory to recruit skilled RANs for a range of short and long-term contracts.

About the role:

Working as a Remote Area Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive, culturally appropriate primary healthcare services within remote communities.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team and will play a key role in improving health outcomes in Aboriginal communities.

Your scope will include:

• Primary health care & chronic disease management
• Emergency response & triage
• Child and maternal health
• Health assessments & care planning
• Medication management
• Health promotion & community engagement.
• Immunisations

What youll need

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience, including remote or rural nursing
• REC, MEC or equivalent emergency certification
• Remote Area Nurse qualifications highly regarded
• Pharmacotherapeutics / RIPRN endorsement (desirable/essential depending on site)
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work autonomously
• Current driver’s licence
• Current ALS/PALS
• Triage certificate
• Immunisation certifiicate
